Status Bar

The Status bar indicates extra information about menu commands, the state of any renaming in progress, the result of the last renaming action, the state of any find in progress, the result of the last find, the state of any batch file creation in progress, or the result of the last batch file creation.

• Starting from the left, the first field shows extra information about a command available in the pull down menu but only when the mouse has selected the command. It also shows which row is selected out of how many rows are available, and the number of rows selected (but only if more than 1 is selected)
• During renaming, the second field shows the number of renamed files, the total number of files to be renamed, and the number of any renaming failures.
  During a find, the second field shows the number of rows being searched and the result of the search indicating whether a matching row was found. The field reverts back to the last renaming result when the find dialog is closed.
• When a renaming sequence is complete without errors, the total renaming time will be displayed in the third field. The total time will vary depending on what else is occurring on the PC while the scan or renaming is in progress. An abort indicator will be displayed if a renaming sequence is aborted by the user.
  During a batch file creation, the second field shows the number of renaming commands being added to the batch file and the final result. The field reverts back to the last renaming result when the confirmation dialog is closed.
